Ericsson is seeking a Technical Solution Engineer in Noida, India, to manage and troubleshoot large-scale data center infrastructure. Responsibilities include resolving customer service requests, performing software upgrades, and identifying product improvements. The role requires experience in data center management, hardware troubleshooting, virtualization, Linux administration, networking, and familiarity with scripting languages.

Ansvarsområden

Investigate, troubleshoot, deliver remedy & restorations and produce solutions to customer support tickets, CSRs.
Participate in software upgrades and updates.
Ensure customer satisfaction with the performance of installed systems.
Provide regular progress updates in the support system for each assigned support issue.
Gather data and information about specific reported problems through contact with external customers and internal support functions.
Actively engage in communication with other engineers for knowledge sharing.
Escalate support tickets to next level of competence units if CSR cannot be answered/solved within the time limit.
Evaluate answers and solutions received from higher competence units.
Identify possible improvements to the products and document them in Requirement Specifications.
Register new known solutions and update existing ones.
Provide Suggestions in developing Operation & Maintenance instructions.
Isolate product faults and raise them to Product Design, support design unit to reproduce the fault and evaluate the final fix.
Work in shifts and Emergencies Support ROTA.
Lead and execute the implementation of new software releases on test labs.
Write documents for fault analysis/RCA along with required preventive and corrective actions.
Be available 24*7 as per support guidelines.

Krav

Experience in Data center Management of large-scale IT infrastructure.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting server and data-center hardware, including compute, storage, and network devices.
Experience with virtualization or container platform, such as VMware, KVM, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Working knowledge of Linux system administration, including logs, services, filesystems, permissions, and basic performance troubleshooting.
Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, Switching, Routing, and Firewall concepts and application on production environment.
Able to trace end-to-end packet flows and isolate Layer 2/Layer 3 issues using a structured troubleshooting approach.
Hands-on experience on any of the Extreme/Juniper/Arista/Cisco Switches & Routers.
Familiarity with Storage technologies and troubleshooting, such as SAN/NAS, RAID, multipathing, or persistent volumes.
Knowledge of infrastructure security practices, including access control, certificates, patching, and system hardening.
