I korthet

We are seeking a Technical Lead for the Data & Analytics team in Oulu, Finland, to lead a Customer 360 platform engineering team. This full-time role involves technical leadership, platform re-platforming to modern cloud-native solutions, and mentoring data engineers.

Ansvarsområden

Act as the technical authority for Customer 360 engineering teams.
Define software engineering standards, data design patterns, and migration pathways.
Lead the design and hands-on migration of complex ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
Develop a deep understanding of the Customer 360 data model and help evolve it.
Ensure automated source-to-target reconciliation and data validation frameworks are in place.
Integrate pipeline test suites directly into DevOps deployment pipelines.
Continuously identify and implement improvements to engineering effectiveness and delivery flow.
Evaluate, pilot, and scale AI-powered workflows and automation.
Partner with domain architects, business analysts, product owners, and security teams.

Krav

5+ years of experience leading engineering teams or acting as a Technical Lead.
Experience in data engineering, ideally with hands-on experience designing, building, and operating modern data platforms on Snowflake.
Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM).
Experience with modern infrastructure as code (Terraform) or CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Strong proficiency in Scala or Python.
Deep commitment to modern software engineering practices (unit testing, automated testing frameworks, Git workflows).

Hands-on leader who leads by example and is passionate about mentoring others.
Comfortable navigating complex legacy big data environments and mapping them to modern cloud topologies.
Enjoy bridging the gap between business objectives and data engineering details.
Strong coaching skills.
Experience with dbt, Streams, Tasks, and Apache Iceberg tables is a strong plus.
Candidates with a solid software engineering or platform engineering background are encouraged to apply.
Solid, practical understanding of legacy on-premises big data systems (Cloudera, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark, MapReduce).
Good understanding of data modeling concepts, data lakehouse architectures, and schema management.
Experience with dimensional modeling and Kimball methodology is considered a plus.
Understanding of pseudonymization, responsible AI, data protection, model risk, and controls in a regulated environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
