Ansvarsområden
- Manage a team of Integration Engineers working on the Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of underwater robotics.
- Ensure team training for effective integration of assemblies and sub-assemblies into complete systems.
- Support product testing to prove system functionality, including auxiliaries.
- Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
- Lead fault finding and repair of equipment, ensuring proper reporting of faults and issues.
- Receive change requests and provide information to improve product quality or efficiency.
- Interpret designs, engineering information, and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes.
- Utilize relevant IT and other systems for role performance.
- Use personal judgment and initiative to develop solutions to daily challenges.
- Comply with 6S best practice and health and safety policies.
- Act ethically, with integrity, and in the best interest of the business.
- Maintain professional and supportive relationships with other departments.
- Carry out any other duties as detailed by the Engineering Manager.
Krav
- Previous Team Leadership experience is essential.
- Ability to lead a fast-paced production area and ensure deadlines are met.
- Strong communication skills.
- A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics.
- Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing.
