Join Qualcomm's System Level Test group as a Senior System Level Test Engineer in Singapore. You will characterize system performance of leading-edge Snapdragon products, working on IC design, hardware testing, software, and customer applications. This role requires hands-on experience in system/SW/bench test, ASIC characterization, and Android-based device testing.

Ansvarsområden

Characterize system performance for Qualcomm’s leading-edge Snapdragon products.
Work with engineering teams from early-stage silicon bring-up to post-silicon validation.
Collaborate with software teams to evaluate integrated system performance.
Test and characterize hardware/software interactions.
Evaluate device performance across various operating conditions (voltage, process and thermal).
Work with production test teams to develop effective production screens for system level issues.

Krav

Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related field.
4-8 years of hands-on experience in System / SW / bench test / HW-SW interaction test, preferably in the mobile devices/microprocessor industry.
Experience with characterizing Processors, PCIE, Graphics, Memory, Thermal and Power performance of ASICs.
Experience developing and executing test cases for Android-based devices.
Experience with production testing environments, including Gauge R&R, shop-floor support and handling OSATS.
Experience analyzing specifications and developing test plans, test cases and executing system-level validation.
Hands-on debug and triage experience using Android debugging tools and/or using JTAG Lauterbach/Trace32 is required.
Strong working knowledge of Android Architecture, Android Boot process, Kernel, Core BSP and Android Performance is required.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with the ability to debug system-level failures and identify effective technical solutions.
Good system level understanding of the HW platforms having various peripherals like PCIE, DDR, UFS, USB, Display, Camera, Power management ICs.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in Module / System in Package (SiP) / Board product testing in New Product Introduction (NPI) or High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
Experience with server product is a plus.
Experience using electrical and system-level measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, wireless network simulators.
Experience or familiarity with characterizing high speed interfaces (HDMI, WiFi, PCIE, SATA, HSUSB).
Experience or familiarity with CMOS digital and Mixed Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, Codecs.
Experience in C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, Perl/Python is a plus.
Working knowledge of system level performance benchmarks and stress tests (e.g. like Dhrystone, AnTuTu, Monkey Test).
Hands-on experience on module testing, PCB-level debugs, SMT-related issues.
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and layout files.
Experience using source control systems such as Perforce, GIT, or equivalent tools.
Self-driven to quickly get up to speed on various aspects of test developments & flexible to take up tasks as per the project needs.
Demonstrated ability to independently ramp up on test development and validation activities, with flexibility to support evolving project needs.
Strong learning agility with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional engineering environment.
