Amazon is looking for a Senior Manager Operations for its Transportation team in Mumbai. This role involves setting up and growing the city's delivery infrastructure, managing Service Partners, and leading a motivated workforce to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery operations.

Ansvarsområden

Define, build, and execute transportation processes from fulfillment centers to customers.
Build network capacity by appointing Service Partners and planning IHS points.
Maintain relationships with and build capabilities of Service Partners.
Hire, train, and build a motivated workforce for delivery teams.
Ensure sufficient delivery team bandwidth for peak times.
Coordinate with Finance, CS, FC, and Projects teams on city operations.
Conduct performance appraisals and mentor Delivery Center Managers and Channel Relationship Managers.
Continuously improve delivery processes and standards.
Analyze data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance.
Implement formal process control and improvement mechanisms like Kaizen.

Krav

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills.
Good communication skills and listening skills.
Ability to set and achieve timelines for tasks.
Strong bias for great customer service.
High ownership and follow-through.
Analytical skills to analyze and interpret information, identify key facts, and review alternatives.
