Atlas Copco seeks a Sr Embedded Engineer - Hardware in Pune, India to design and enhance embedded systems, control systems, and controller platforms. This hybrid role requires extensive experience in hardware design, including component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, and validation, with a focus on compliance with industry standards.
Ansvarsområden
- Leverage strong knowledge and adaptability in electronics and instrumentation to develop cutting-edge applications.
- Design and enhance advanced control systems and next-generation controller platforms.
- Engage in the end-to-end hardware design process: component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping, and validation.
- Ensure designs comply with industry and environmental standards such as REACH and RoHS.
- Contribute to global talent development, technological portfolio expansion, and innovation for operational excellence.
Krav
- A degree in Industrial Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of industrial experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of microprocessor architectures, FPGA designs, memory circuits, and power supply design principles.
- Proven experience in analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed circuit design.
- Familiarity with circuit simulation tools, signal integrity concepts, and adherence to EMI/EMC standards.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing integrated microcontroller unit (MCU) peripheral circuits and turn-key power supply electronics including high-efficiency AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
- Deep understanding of pulse-width modulation (PWM) techniques and motor drive circuitry.
- Expertise in isolation standards and methods.
- Experience selecting and specifying power components such as discrete PWM controllers, PMMIC, high and low side drivers, IGBTs, MOSFETs, SCRs, diodes, capacitors, and inductors.
