Emerson is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore to lead new production introductions, resolve manufacturing issues, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities include process optimization, root cause analysis, cost reduction, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Requires knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and experience with process optimization tools.

Ansvarsområden

Lead and/or participate in process development, optimization, training, qualification, and validation activities for new product or technology transfers.
Lead yield improvement, root cause analysis to resolve product manufacturing failures, reduce scrap, and improve quality.
Improve manufacturing efficiency through workflow, space, equipment layout optimization, cost reduction, process automation, and digital transformation.
Manage new equipment set-up and equipment improvements.
Generate process equipment specifications and ensure robust design for mass production, particularly on safety.
Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing procedures and related documentation including Risk Assessments (RA), Lockout/Tagout procedures (LOTO), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Equipment Safety Requirements (ESR) for assembly & equipment processes.
Create and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) structure, product attributes, categories configuration, routing, and any engineering-related support.

Krav

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with process optimization, root cause analysis and problem-solving tools (Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc).
Trained in Lean techniques, SPC, Six Sigma and Process Improvement tools.
Experience with automation, robotics, PLCs, welding or Industry 4.0 technologies is an advantage.
Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards.
Proficiency in computer skills - Oracle business system and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint) skills preferred.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or production environments.
Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Six Sigma Green Belt or other relevant certifications preferred.
