ABB is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity for their Cheonan, South Korea location. This full-time, on-site role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions for Distributed Control System (DCS) environments, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.

Ansvarsområden

Execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines.
Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers.
Work with customers to identify opportunities to improve system performance and operational performance.
Design and implement integrated cybersecurity solutions for Distributed Control System (DCS) environments.
Architect and deploy comprehensive security systems utilizing technologies such as WSUS, NAC, NAS, SIEM, FIREWALL/UTM, and patch management.
Plan and execute service work as per customer order and expectations.
Ensure customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
Identify new service business opportunities for ABB.
Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
Design and specify integrated DCS cybersecurity solutions, including security architecture, frameworks, and technology selection aligned with standards such as IEC 62443 and NIST.
Implement and integrate cybersecurity systems (e.g., WSUS, NAC, NAS, SIEM, firewall/UTM), including system hardening, secure configuration, and HMI upgrades.
Manage patching strategies and secure access in OT environments, ensuring system availability while supporting vulnerability management and threat detection activities.
Support end-to-end deployment, testing, and commissioning of security solutions.
Prepare technical documentation and design artifacts.

Krav

Minimum 7 years of experience in DCS security engineering, cybersecurity, or related industrial automation security roles.
Solid knowledge of DCS security platforms and hands-on experience such as WSUS, NAC, NAS, SIEM, FIREWALL /UTM, and network security.
Strong background in industrial cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
Proven experience in system integration, threat assessment, security architecture design, vendor management, and DCS security hardening.
Practical skills in network security, access control, encryption, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Proven leadership skills with collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and fluency in Korean.
Willingness to travel frequently to domestic sites (over 60%).

Experience in network and security design for power plants (e.g., KDHC) is preferred.
