Amazon's Global BMS Technical Services (GBTS) is hiring a Senior BMS Specialist in Hyderabad. This role involves supporting and optimizing BMS operations globally, ensuring peak performance and contributing to sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in BMS programming, HVAC controls, and troubleshooting.

Ansvarsområden

Support the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for maintaining, improving, and expanding global support services.
Collaborate with various stakeholders (GRBD&E, D&C, Sustainability, RME) to understand requirements and business objectives.
Design, implement, and manage scalable BMS standard operating procedures, policies, and processes.
Maintain and optimize BMS technologies, IoT platforms, and data analytics tools.
Monitor and maintain ticket and work order queues to ensure customer care and quality.
Ensure compliance with change management processes.
Monitor and analyze BMS data for optimization, energy efficiency, and cost savings opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations on BMS trends, improvements, issues, and emerging technologies.
Take ownership of BMS initiatives, develop technical documentation, manage timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Lead training sessions and development programs for field RME teams and BMS Specialists.
Drive a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
Willingness to work flexible shifts to provide 24/7 BMS support across global time zones.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent.
Ability to integrate multiple communications protocols (BACnet, LON, Modbus, SNMP) to a single platform with normalized data.
Ability to remotely troubleshoot BMS communication issues (fieldbus, network gateways, IP-based protocols).
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Deep understanding of HVAC, lighting, Utilities, field devices, and other building systems, as well as energy management principles.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and innovative mindset.
Organized and self-motivated to take ownership of complex tasks.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with Industrial control systems, both hardware and software.
Experience working in cross-regional BMS projects with multicultural teams.
Proficiency in cloud-based IoT platforms, data analytics, and visualization tools.
Certification in relevant programming languages or BMS systems.
Certification with Tridium Niagara.
Certification with Distech Controls.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Experience and understanding of facility management and relevant electrical and mechanical aspects of BMS equipment.
Proficiency in additional spoken languages.
