Amazon India Payments Tech is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician in Hyderabad to develop and test next-generation payment products. You will coordinate with global teams, design and execute manual and automated tests for various software components, and contribute to a quality-centric development process in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Ansvarsområden

Coordinate with multiple teams to communicate technical requirements, drive schedules, and review test plans.
Design, execute, and automate tests for front-end applications, middle, and back-end software.
Test systems at the user level, both manually and with automated tools.
Perform grey box testing, understanding software internals, debugging with logs, and writing automated tests.
Collaborate with Software Development Engineers and Business Owners to understand technical implementations.
Work with business stakeholders, designers, and customer service teams to understand customer usage and develop test plans.
Drive the software development process towards quality-centric methodologies to avoid or find defects early.
Develop automated tests to expedite testing cycles and faster releases.

Krav

Experience in quality assurance testing.
Knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
Demonstrated experience in a QAE role.
Experience in software QA testing including writing test plans, use cases, and issue reports.
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
1+ years of experience in software testing.
Ability to understand functional/technical specifications and analyze data.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results.
Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and physical devices.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills.
Exposure to API testing using tools such as POSTMAN.
Experience in automating the RESTful API using frameworks such as REST Assured.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
Ability to deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
