Alstom is seeking a full-time Project EHS Engineer for their operations in New Delhi, India. This role involves ensuring compliance with EHS standards, implementing risk management strategies, and fostering a strong EHS culture. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Safety and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.

Ansvarsområden

Deploy Alstom EHS standards and tools.
Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Support project teams in implementing safety management plans and emergency plans.
Support the Services Business in achieving EHS results.
Develop and implement EHS plans and programs to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain the EHS Management System in line with Alstom and international standards.
Provide EHS training programs and support stakeholders.
Lead EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Krav

University Degree (BE, B. Tech) or Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Industrial Safety Engineering.
Experience or understanding of industrial and electrical environments.
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection legislation and standards (ISO 14001 and 45001).
Familiarity with risk assessment, environmental impact analysis, and EHS tools and methodologies.
A certification in industrial safety from a state board-approved institution (e.g., RLI/CLI).
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at different organizational levels.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
