Qualcomm is seeking a Program Manager, SR to lead technical program management for their Oryon CPU Engineering team, responsible for Snapdragon X Series and Snapdragon 8 Elite/Gen 5. The role involves planning, driving, and delivering CPU IP development, managing schedules, mitigating risks, and reporting to senior management.

Ansvarsområden

Plan, drive, and deliver CPU IP development and integration into silicon products.
Lead the creation and maintenance of credible and data-driven schedules and project milestones.
Organize and lead interdepartmental meetings to set project milestones/schedules and define project tasks.
Responsible for IP-SoC relationship & partnership program management.
Troubleshoot program issues and develop alternative plans to resolve conflicts.
Determine risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate information to stakeholders.
Roll up and report regularly to senior management on key development milestones, budget, metrics, risks, and mitigation plans.
Develop processes to increase the productivity and efficiency of the team.
Manage teams through design, development, validation, test, manufacturing, deployment, and sustaining activities for hardware products.
Be an advocate for the program in cross-functional and stakeholder meetings.

Krav

Strong semiconductor domain knowledge and experience managing complex silicon development programs.
A successful candidate requires a strong IP core (preferably CPU) design & debug background including Project Management of IP team working on multiple programs.
Technical domain expertise in all aspects of VLSI development cycle and IP delivery process.
Experience applying AI solutions to integrate enterprise data, automate metric generation, build executive-ready dashboards, and support data-driven program and business decisions.
Ability to drive teams towards long-term challenging goals and intermediate milestones.
Track record of successful planning and execution within resource and schedule constraints.
Knowledgeable on program management tools and processes to increase productivity across engineering teams.
Proven skills: communication, negotiation, motivation, dealing and resolving difficult and complex situations, thinking on the fly, and drive to meet the business need.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
4+ years of Program Management or related work experience.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Familiarity with Physical Design flows, implementation processes and design closure (signoff) is preferred.
Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
