Alstom is seeking a full-time Remote Driving Product Lead in Villeurbanne to shape the product vision and manage the development of cutting-edge remote driving solutions for rail operations. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to transform rail through digital technologies.

Ansvarsområden

Shape the product vision and manage the development of remote driving solutions.
Coordinate interactions between disciplines (signalling, rolling stock, ergonomics).
Support the Programme Manager in strategic decision-making.
Plan releases by defining content and delivery dates of versions.
Oversee the Remote Driving programme and coordinate activities to meet quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
Organise and lead the operational management of the development team, including backlog planning and continuous improvement.
Define and maintain solution architecture, steer technical decisions, and resolve engineering trade-offs.
Ensure technical quality, manage technical debt, and support continuous integration.
Identify, assess, and manage technical risks associated with design, development, and integration.
Coordinate technical interactions between Innovation teams and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to demonstrators, pilot schemes, and proofs of concept.
Define and implement methods, tools, and processes for delivery capacity improvement and industrialisation preparation.
Monitor innovations in rail, automation, and digitalisation, and represent the solution at events.
Provide visibility on progress, risks, and feasibility for decision-making and programme reviews.

Krav

Degree in engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in product management, systems engineering, project management, or programme management.
Experience leading development initiatives, coordinating teams, and managing innovative products or solutions.
Strong analytical, organisational, and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
Leadership skills with the ability to unite technical teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Understanding of complex systems and industrial digital solutions (e.g., real-time architectures, APIs, cloud computing, cyber security).
Fluency in English.

Knowledge of the rail sector, signalling, automation, or human factors (advantageous but not required).
Fluency in German is a plus.
