ABB seeks a Procurement Manager to lead a team in executing supply chain strategies for the China primary switchgear product group, focusing on cost, quality, and service optimization. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost reduction initiatives to meet business needs and KPIs.

Ansvarsområden

Lead the primary switchgear procurement team to deliver KPIs including cost saving, cash improvement, fulfillment, supplier quality, and sustainable supply chain.
Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business priorities and develop suppliers to meet current and future business requirements.
Drive cost reduction for new product development and collaborate with technology, engineering, and operation teams on cost-out projects.
Ensure supplier quality through audits and qualifications, continuously reducing cost of failure and improving supplier performance.
People development through training and coaching the procurement team.

Krav

Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or manufacturing related field.
5+ years of managerial experience in operations or supply chain management in multinational companies.
Experience in the electrical power industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing operation environment.
Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy, and implement innovative solutions.
Fluent in English.
Travel is required.
