Responsibilities
- Lead the primary switchgear procurement team to deliver KPIs including cost saving, cash improvement, fulfillment, supplier quality, and sustainable supply chain.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business priorities and develop suppliers to meet current and future business requirements.
- Drive cost reduction for new product development and collaborate with technology, engineering, and operation teams on cost-out projects.
- Ensure supplier quality through audits and qualifications, continuously reducing cost of failure and improving supplier performance.
- People development through training and coaching the procurement team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or manufacturing related field.
- 5+ years of managerial experience in operations or supply chain management in multinational companies.
- Experience in the electrical power industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing operation environment.
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy, and implement innovative solutions.
- Fluent in English.
- Travel is required.
