Ansvarsområden
- Operate tube mill operations and equipment to ensure continuous operation during the shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
- Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill set-ups.
- Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) of process and equipment.
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
- Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
- Minimize scrap.
- Work with maintenance hands-on to resolve issues promptly.
- Document downtime through a reporting system for KPI tracking.
- Communicate with coworkers and material handlers for product tagging.
- React to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Krav
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in using special measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
- Ability to read set up charts supplied by OEM and interpret them for tooling adjustments.
- Ability to change out cut off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels of equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
- Good communication skills with coworkers.
- Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience in using special measuring devices.
- Must be able to read set up charts supplied by OEM and interpret them to roll tooling adjustments.
- Must be able to document down time through seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking.
- Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.
