Ameristar Perimeter Security USA seeks an Operator for its tube mill operations in Tulsa, OK. This full-time, on-site, first shift position focuses on maintaining mill operations, quality checks, and team coordination. A high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and experience with measuring devices are required.

Ansvarsområden

Operate tube mill machinery to ensure continuous operation.
Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill setups.
Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on process and equipment.
Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
Minimize scrap production.
Collaborate with maintenance for timely issue resolution.

Krav

High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Experience in using special measuring devices: micrometer, calipers, tape measure.
Ability to read and interpret set-up charts and roll tooling adjustments.
Capability to change out cut-off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels.
Demonstrated ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
Ability to document downtime through a reporting system for KPI tracking.
Good communication skills with coworkers and material handlers.
Ability to think and react to schedule changes and mill conditions.
Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.
