Ameristar Perimeter Security USA seeks an Operator for its tube mill operations in Tulsa, OK. This entry-level, full-time, on-site position focuses on maintaining mill operations, performing quality checks, and cross-training team members. A high school diploma or GED and good mechanical aptitude are required.

Ansvarsområden

Operate and maintain tube mill equipment to ensure continuous operation.
Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill setups.
Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) on process and equipment.
Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
Minimize scrap and work with maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
Document downtime through a reporting system for KPI tracking.

Krav

High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Experience using special measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, tape measure).
Ability to read and interpret setup charts from OEM for tooling adjustments.
Ability to change out cut-off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels.
Demonstrated ability to meet negotiated timeframes of scheduling.
Good communication skills with coworkers and material handlers.
Ability to react to schedule changes and mill conditions.
Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Ability to interpret OEM setup charts to perform roll tooling adjustments.
Ability to document downtime through a seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking.
