This master thesis project focuses on designing MMIC phase shifters for X-band and Ku-band applications using GaN HEMT technology. Students will conduct a literature review, evaluate design concepts, and design a phase shifter, contributing to advanced radar and electronic warfare products at Saab Surveillance.

Ansvarsområden

Conduct a literature review of MMIC phase-shifter designs.
Evaluate different design concepts and select the most promising approach for GaN HEMT technology.
Design a phase shifter for X-band and/or Ku-band.
Prepare a final report and presentation of findings.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and specialists in microwave and antenna design.

Krav

Master's student in engineering with an interest in microwave technology.
Specific interest in MMIC design.
Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
Must pass a security vetting.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with X-band and Ku-band applications is a plus.
Familiarity with GaN HEMT technology.
