SEB is seeking a Senior Data Engineer/Data Modeller to transform their Finance & Risk Data Platform into a modern enterprise data warehouse using GCP technologies. The role involves designing robust data models with a focus on Data Vault 2.0, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring data quality and traceability within a regulated banking environment. This is a hybrid position based in Solna, Sweden.

Ansvarsområden

Design and evolve the target enterprise data warehouse architecture for Finance and Risk data.
Model complex business data using scalable patterns, focusing on Data Vault 2.0 principles.
Design Hubs, Links, Satellites, Business Vault components, and downstream information marts.
Define and promote standards for historization, auditability, lineage, metadata management, and data quality.
Build and optimize ELT processes using GCP technologies (BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataform/DBT).
Integrate and harmonize data from heterogeneous source systems, maintaining traceability.
Drive best practices in data modelling, warehouse design, and engineering excellence.
Mentor other engineers and contribute to a long-term data architecture.

Krav

Deep expertise in data modelling and enterprise data warehouse design.
Proven experience with Data Vault 2.0, including Hubs, Links, Satellites, historization, auditability, and lineage.
Track record of building scalable data platforms integrating large numbers of heterogeneous source systems.
Ability to balance business requirements, regulatory expectations, and long-term maintainability.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in reading and writing SQL and Python.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in banking, finance, or another regulated industry.
Familiarity with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Dataform/DBT) or comparable cloud data platforms.
Experience building ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
Knowledge of data governance, regulatory reporting, or frameworks like BCBS 239.
