Ameristar Perimeter Security USA is looking for a Material Handler for their 1st shift operations in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on maintaining tube mill operations, ensuring continuous production, and performing quality checks. The ideal candidate will have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to use measuring devices.

Ansvarsområden

Ensure continuous operation of the tube mill equipment during the shift.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area (5S).
Cross-train team members on parts programming and mill set-ups.
Perform TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) of process and equipment.
Coordinate daily and weekly activities with the department supervisor.
Perform visual and manual quality checks of finished products.
Minimize scrap production.
Work with maintenance to resolve issues.
Document downtime through a reporting system for KPI tracking.

Krav

High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Experience using special measuring devices: micrometer, calipers, tape measure.
Ability to read set-up charts and interpret them for roll tooling adjustments.
Ability to change out cut-off jaws, blades, and refill oil levels.
Demonstrate ability to meet negotiated time frames of scheduling.
Good communication skills with coworkers.
Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
Ability to be a contributing team member for continuous improvement activities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience in using special measuring devices, micrometer, calipers, tape measure.
Ability to read set up charts supplied by OEM and interpret them to roll tooling adjustments.
Ability to document down time through seamless reporting system to drive KPI tracking.
Good communication skills with coworkers to insure continuous flow of the mill and material handler for proper tagging of product.
Ability to think and react to schedule changes and conditions on the mill.
Ability to be a contributing and valued team member for continuous improvement activities.
