Autoliv is seeking a Lead Specialist in Industrial Engineering to lead industrialization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives in Badli, India. This role focuses on building safe, capable processes and driving operational excellence within the automotive manufacturing sector.

Ansvarsområden

Champion a zero-incident safety culture and lead Process Risk Assessments.
Lead new product industrialization from RFQ through SOP and ramp-up.
Design and implement robust manufacturing processes, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, and Work Instructions.
Achieve and sustain process capability targets (Cp/Cpk) and deploy Poka-Yoke solutions.
Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and APS deployment initiatives to drive productivity and waste elimination.
Define manufacturing process and equipment specifications, and lead machine development and commissioning.
Drive automation and digitalization initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.
Partner with R&D, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and EHS teams.
Develop and implement best practices, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and global standards.
Build and develop a high-performing Process Engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Krav

10-14 years of experience in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related functions within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in New Product Industrialization, Lean Manufacturing, Process Capability Improvement, and Automation Projects.
Expertise in Process Design & Industrialization, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, DOE, Process Validation & Capability Studies.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma principles.
Experience with Automation & Industry 4.0 Implementation and Process Digitalization.
Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence Tools.
Strong business acumen and customer-first mindset.
Sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving and execution skills.
Ability to lead by example in Safety and Quality.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in cross-functional and global environments.

Önskade kvalifikationer

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
Certifications in AutoCAD, PLM, and Six Sigma will be an added advantage.
