Emerson is seeking a Project Analyst in Pune, India, to join their Financial Services Group. This remote role involves managing monthly financial reporting, project accounting, revenue recognition, and liaising with business unit analysts to ensure accurate financial closes and forecasts. The ideal candidate is a Finance professional with up to 3 years of experience, possessing strong knowledge of ERP systems like Oracle and US GAAP principles.

Ansvarsområden

Manage the monthly reporting process for timely and accurate financial information.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, meeting reporting deadlines.
Prepare Daily/monthly flash for Orders and Sales.
Determine and manage correct revenue recognition for Projects in Oracle.
Perform reconciliations of Control Accounts (WIP/UBR/UER) and month-end checks.
Handle project maintenance in Oracle, including cost and revenue reconciliations and clearance of differences.
Generate project financial reports such as ITD Invoice reports and Project Status Inquiry.
Perform backlog reconciliation and WIP/UBR Aging analysis.
Conduct monthly variance analysis and participate in the monthly forecasting (POR) process.
Support segment reporting, product group, and KOB reporting.
Prepare post month-end reports for Site & BU management.
Liaise with Business Unit Financial Analysts to provide financial details and variance explanations.
Support annual budgets, mid-year reviews, Ops Reviews, WIP Count, Inventory Analysis, and Annual Audit.
Participate in Project Reviews (Monthly and Quarterly).

Krav

Finance Professional with up to 3 years of work experience in FP&A Domain.
Hands-on experience in ERP, MS Office, and reporting tools.
Self-starter, able to think creatively, self-driven, and self-motivated.
High standards of accuracy and highly organized.
Team Player.
Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA up to 3 years of post-qualification experience in finance domain.
Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
System knowledge of Oracle, Oracle SmartView.
Good Excel knowledge & presentation tools.

Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA up to 3 years of post-qualification experience in finance domain.
