As a Senior Field Applications Engineer for IoT at Qualcomm Germany in Munich, you will provide crucial customer support for product design, development, and adoption. This role involves serving as a company liaison on technical matters and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and drive sales targets.
Ansvarsområden
- Provide highly visible customer support through the design, development, and adoption of products (e.g., hardware, software, RF, XR, IOT).
- Serve as company liaison on highly critical administrative/technical matters.
- Instruct customers on the design, development, selection, and use of highly advanced system architectures and equipment.
- Collect and address critical customer feedback regarding product quality, applicability, and definition, informing appropriate Business Units.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales team) to assess product applications, prepare product specifications, and achieve annual sales targets.
- Develop and deliver highly complicated or specialized product demos or presentations.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 6+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 5+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 4+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
- Experience in relevant engineering areas such as hardware design, systems design, software programming.
- Experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- Experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- Work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- Working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 12+ years of Field Application Engineering or related work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in relevant engineering areas such as hardware design, systems design, software programming, etc.
- 3+ years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
- 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
- 1+ year of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
