As a Delivery Coordinator at Volvo Group's Service Market Logistics in Byhalia, MS, you will be the primary contact for deviations in incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring departure precision and lead time adherence. You will manage escalations, conduct first-line analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics operations.

Ansvarsområden

Serve as the first point of contact for deviations on incoming receiving and outgoing shipments, related to lead times and departure precision.
Secure proper escalation of deviations within the organization and provide feedback after investigation.
Handle as many questions as possible independently.
Log all deviations for further analysis.
Perform first-line analysis of recurrent deviations.
Contact Materials Planning for lead times on incoming receiving and outgoing shipments.
Contact the North American Service Center for outgoing and return shipments.
Provide input to the Operational Resource Planner regarding elements with impact on workload and/or resources.
Prioritize daily workflow according to the company’s needs.
Be proactive and forecast for upcoming projects.
Communicate with appropriate teams on delivery concerns.
Document, update, and follow up on all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to achieve a high level of quality.
Run, create, and update reports as needed within various applications.
Process confirmation, troubleshoot, resolution, problem-solve.
Maintain safety and environmental consciousness.
Utilize Quality Improvement Tools.
Demonstrate business understanding.
Implement maintenance awareness.
Retrieve information and data.
Perform planning and scheduling.
Engage in trouble shooting.
Conduct data analysis reporting.
Perform additional functions as needed.

Krav

Bachelor or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of logistics processes and business acumen.
Customer oriented and strong in building networks.
Ability to prioritize and possess a sense of urgency.
