As a Data Engineer II with Alexa AI - ML Engineering, you will design and manage large-scale data pipelines processing billions of daily records. You will collaborate with SDEs and applied scientists to define data strategy, architecture, and feature pipelines, ensuring the operational health and continuous improvement of production systems that power Alexa's personalized experiences.

Ansvarsområden

Design, build, and own ETL/ELT pipelines for customer-interaction and context data at scale.
Partner with SDEs to define data strategy, architecture, and the team's data platform roadmap.
Own operational tasks including data migrations, schema updates, and ticket resolution.
Collaborate with scientists to define data contracts, feature pipelines, and quality checks.
Operate and improve production pipelines, optimizing data delivery and resolving incidents.
Establish and document best practices for data modeling, warehousing, and pipeline design.

Krav

3+ years of data engineering experience
4+ years of SQL experience
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases).
