As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT) Manager, you will lead a team responsible for hardware deployments, diagnostics, and decommissioning. This role focuses on supporting technician performance, monitoring KPIs and SLAs, and fostering a positive team culture within Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I).

Ansvarsområden

Lead and empower a team of technicians, modeling, coaching, and fostering a positive team culture.
Ensure overall data center service compliance and quality, adhering to policies and procedures.
Oversee technician training for installation, deployment, and replacement processes, verifying quality checks.
Escalate and follow up on issues, sharing knowledge for resolution.
Review process changes and evaluate their impact on service execution.
Lead team meetings, prioritize work, and rebalance priorities as needed.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and conduct daily safety briefings.

Krav

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
3+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
1+ year(s) of experience directing, supervising, or managing others.
Ability to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
3+ years of experience in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 data center environment.
Applicable certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+), CDCP, MCP, Six Sigma Green Belt.
2+ years of experience leading a diverse, technical, or IT workforce of up to ten employees.
