As a Microsoft Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (DIAT), you will perform cycle audits, execute deliveries, and manage warranty claims. This role involves developing knowledge of inventory management, warranty processes, and data bearing device destruction within Microsoft's global data center infrastructure.

Ansvarsområden

Perform cycle audits and data corrections to ensure inventory controls are met.
Document incoming and outgoing deliveries and maintain accurate records.
Initiate warranty claims and process returns for failed equipment, coordinating with suppliers.
Assist in reconciling and reporting inventory discrepancies.
Conduct physical inventory tracking and staging.
Perform destruction of data bearing devices following established policies and SLAs.
Coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors.
Escalate issues during high-volume work or complex situations.
Develop working knowledge of stock control and inventory management practices.
Adhere to Microsoft's contractual agreements with suppliers and maintain customer focus.
Comply with all security and data management policies.
Embody company culture and values.

Krav

Graduate or Diploma AND 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Önskade kvalifikationer

1+ years’ experience in warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, IT, and/or logistics.
Experience operating heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, chassis lifts) for a large corporation OR equivalent experience.
