As a Customs Classification Specialist at IKEA in Älmhult, Sweden, you will manage global customs classification for IKEA's entire product range, ensuring compliance and contributing to efficient supply chain operations. Ansvarsområden

Manage the research, drafting and submitting of Classification Binding Rulings processes
Contribute to well-functioning processes supporting IKEA Supply action plans and strategic roadmap
Collaborate and communicate classification matters with both internal and external stakeholders
Maintain evidence based reasoning and documentation supporting classification decisions
Support tariff classification during customs audits by drafting well reasoned and evidence based justification

Krav

Excellent knowledge of customs tariff classification including strong command of the harmonized system and tariff classification principles
Demonstrated expertise in obtaining rulings using the tools by which rulings are submitted
A good understanding of digital tools used for classification
Analytical skills including a solid understanding of analysis tools
Fluency in written and spoken English

Understanding of import, export and other customs regulations
Knowledge of the IKEA value chain
Knowledge of how to standardize classification processes and improve data quality
Knowledge of Global Trade Management products and platforms
