Microsoft seeks a Business Program Manager to lead capacity automation and backend tools for AI and Azure services. This hybrid role involves translating business needs into technical requirements, managing workstreams, driving process improvements, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency and scale capacity management.

Ansvarsområden

Lead end-to-end capacity automation and operational tooling programs.
Manage complex workstreams across multiple stakeholders, balancing priorities, dependencies, and risks.
Drive operational rigor through structured program management practices and governance.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate business processes and reduce manual effort.
Implement scalable solutions to enhance the reliability and effectiveness of the Capacity Operating System.
Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Capacity Planning, and business stakeholders.
Plan, coordinate, and deliver automation, integration, and backend tooling initiatives.
Use data, reporting, and operational metrics to inform prioritization and decision-making.
Apply deep understanding of capacity allocation and governance processes to improve business performance.
Build trusted partnerships across technical and business organizations.
Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and automation capabilities.
Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered solutions to improve productivity and automate workflows.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
Direct professional experience with cloud infrastructure capacity planning, including datacenter, compute, storage, network, or AI/GPU capacity management systems.

Experience with datacenter, compute, or infrastructure capacity management systems and tooling.
Experience in cloud computing, including experience working for or with major cloud providers.
Familiarity with AI capacity planning, AI infrastructure, GPU compute, large-scale model requirements, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and supply constraints.
Experience translating operational requirements into system, data, integration, and workflow requirements.
Experience delivering operational tooling, automation, and process improvement initiatives in partnership with engineering and technical teams.
Strong analytical skills with experience using operational datasets, dashboards, reporting tools, APIs, and data-driven insights.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Experience mapping, documenting, and simplifying cross-functional business processes.

Förmåner

Typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year.
Different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
