Ansvarsområden

Support customers using Synopsys implementation tools like Fusion Compiler and IC Compiler II, debugging timing violations, routing congestion, floorplanning issues, and power/area tradeoffs.
Analyze customer design flows from RTL to GDSII, reproduce issues, and work with internal engineering teams to resolve tool-related or methodology challenges.
Review tool logs, identify root causes of failures or performance bottlenecks, and provide clear technical guidance to customers.
Develop and deliver technical documentation, application notes, and best practice guides.
Participate in customer meetings, debug sessions, and technical reviews.
Collaborate with product engineering and R&D to escalate complex cases and contribute to product improvement.
Build internal knowledge through hands-on work with synthesis, place and route, timing closure, and physical verification flows.
Accompany sales teams for pre-sale/post-sale activities to increase business opportunities.

Krav

Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals and the RTL-to-GDSII physical implementation flow.
Knowledge of synthesis and physical design concepts including timing closure, floorplanning, place and route, and congestion analysis.
Ability to work in Linux/Unix environments and navigate command-line workflows.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Hands-on experience with Fusion Compiler, IC Compiler II, or similar industry-standard implementation tools is a strong plus.
Scripting experience in TCL, Python, Perl, or Shell is a plus.
Ability to take a vague customer complaint and turn it into a structured debug plan.
Comfortable digging into data, checking logs, reproducing issues, and asking for help when needed.
Comfortable saying 'I do not know yet, but I will find out' and following through.
Ability to juggle multiple support cases at once.
Care about documentation.
Ability to work well independently and know when to pull in a teammate or escalate to engineering.
