This role supports accurate and timely payment processing within banking operations. The analyst will apply foundational knowledge of banking principles and payment systems, assist in identifying issues, and help generate reports for business monitoring. Collaboration and basic reporting are key aspects of this position.

Ansvarsområden

Process payments using payment applications, applying knowledge of SWIFT messages (MT202, MT103, MT299, MT191 to MT999).
Validate transaction documentation for cash, cheque, and ACH payments according to internal guidelines.
Identify basic issues within payment processing workflows and escalate discrepancies.
Support the implementation of process improvements by following documented solutions.
Prepare basic reports and analyses using payment system data.
Collaborate with team members to clarify payment procedures and address routine queries.

Krav

Foundational knowledge of RB Payments Processing & Transfers and RB Payments Investigation & Charges.
Basic understanding of banking products, features, and core banking principles.
Familiarity with SWIFT message formats and their application in payment processing.
Initial learning in using payment applications and systems for transaction management.
Basic document verification and comprehension skills.
Fundamental communication skills for effective team collaboration.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Certification in SWIFT Fundamentals or Payments Operations (such as ACI Payments Certification) is valuable but not mandatory.
