FBA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to build AI-native engineering systems that eliminate reactive work. You will develop LLM-powered remediation agents, self-healing deployment platforms, and a knowledge foundation, impacting 55+ teams and 500+ engineers.

Responsibilities

Build AI-native tooling to eliminate reactive toil for other teams.
Ship LLM-powered remediation agents, autonomous workflows, and a knowledge foundation.
Develop agentic remediation systems that detect, diagnose, and resolve operational issues automatically.
Build self-healing deployment platforms with safe primitives, automated integration testing, and pipeline intelligence.
Create the FBA knowledge foundation using OE infrastructure and knowledge-graph tooling.

Requirements

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling).
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations).

Desired Qualifications

Experience building automation, platform, or developer-productivity systems (CI/CD, observability, agentic/AI-assisted tooling).
Hands-on interest in applying LLMs and AI-native approaches to real engineering problems.
Bias for measurable impact and comfort inventing in an ambiguous, high-ownership charter.
