The role involves using AI for automatic software documentation and signal requirement specification, requiring skills in C and Matlab. This is a hybrid work model with a 20-week thesis duration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thesis work on AI-based processes, methods, and tools for automatic software documentation.
  • Develop methods for automatically transferring signal output accuracy demands to input signal accuracy requirements.
  • Improve reviewability and handling of requirements for non-coding personnel.
  • Participate in a phased thesis work including research, mid-term seminar feedback, final write-up, and oral presentations.
  • Contribute to Traton's ecosystem of sustainable transport through control system development.

Requirements

  • Educated in computer science and programming.
  • Skilled in programming (C), possibly with experience in app development.
  • Experience using AI as a problem-solving tool in modeling projects.
  • Experience with Matlab for evaluating and presenting results.
  • Master of Science student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, computer science, or similar.
  • Proficient in Swedish and English (speech and writing).

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
