Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong safety culture and safe work environment through audits, start-ups, and inspections.
- Plan and direct daily work activities to meet daily goals.
- Identify training gaps and needed qualifications for team members.
- Monitor and improve inventory accuracy, ensuring parts are stored properly.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce non-conformances, costs, and manufacturing time.
- Improve employee performance through reviews, training, and idea sharing.
- Provide support for assembly processing, ValveLink, and Flowscan testing.
- Support the implementation of best practices like 5S+1, TPM, and Kaizen events.
- Maintain department records (hours, productivity, quality, etc.) and administer the labor agreement.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or above.
- 3 years of proven leadership experience.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production processes, and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership skills (disciplined, assertive, high energy).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship provided.
Desired Qualifications
- Technology-based Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to understand, apply, and train adherence to strict processing and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with Nuclear Codes & Regulations, Commercial Grade Dedication, Nuclear Qualification requirements, and Standards related to Nuclear, Oxygen Cleanliness and Cryogenic assembly and testing processes.
- Ability to teach skills and proven track record to drive process improvement.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Solid digital literacy including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) as well as MS Outlook.
