Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate an HMI for Human-Autonomy Teaming (HAT) interfaces.
- Investigate user groups and identify information needs for HAT visualization.
- Develop interface concept prototypes.
- Evaluate the resulting design through appropriate methods.
- Investigate measurements of team performance and teaming.
- Propose one or more HAT measures or scoring frameworks.
- Demonstrate and evaluate the applicability of the measure(s) within a Saab use case.
- Potentially interact with a measurement engine, possibly simulated via Wizard-of-Oz or developed as part of the thesis.
Requirements
- Currently in the final stage of a Master's program in Human-Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, Autonomous Systems, AI, or equivalent.
- About to begin a 30 hp thesis project.
- Interest in human-computer interaction, software engineering, systems engineering, autonomous systems, and artificial intelligence.
- Willingness to undergo security vetting.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with software development is beneficial.
- Experience with web technologies is beneficial.
- Experience with user-interface design is beneficial.
- Experience with data visualization is beneficial.
