Responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate an HMI for Human-Autonomy Teaming (HAT) interfaces.
Investigate user groups and identify information needs for HAT visualization.
Develop interface concept prototypes.
Evaluate the resulting design through appropriate methods.
Investigate measurements of team performance and teaming.
Propose one or more HAT measures or scoring frameworks.
Demonstrate and evaluate the applicability of the measure(s) within a Saab use case.
Potentially interact with a measurement engine, possibly simulated via Wizard-of-Oz or developed as part of the thesis.

Requirements

Currently in the final stage of a Master's program in Human-Computer Interaction, Software Engineering, Autonomous Systems, AI, or equivalent.
About to begin a 30 hp thesis project.
Interest in human-computer interaction, software engineering, systems engineering, autonomous systems, and artificial intelligence.
Willingness to undergo security vetting.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with software development is beneficial.
Experience with web technologies is beneficial.
Experience with user-interface design is beneficial.
Experience with data visualization is beneficial.
