Junior Software Developer (Contract)
In short
Responsibilities
- Write, maintain, and optimize backend code and CLIs using Python and C++.
- Refactor legacy scripts for seamless execution on Windows (WSL2) and Linux.
- Work with data serialization formats (JSON, XML, YAML) for tool interoperability.
- Write automated validation scripts (linters) for Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve internal tool usability with clear error messages and fix hints.
- Write unit tests and assist with automated stress tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or 1-2 years of experience).
- Strong foundational skills in Python and/or C++.
- Comfortable working in Linux and Windows command-line environments.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Basic knowledge of configuration files and data structures (YAML, JSON).
- Strong problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and passion for developer tools.
- Familiarity with Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
- Basic knowledge of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, SystemC, or hardware simulation workflows.
- Experience writing bash scripts or working with build automation tools.

- Recent graduates or 1-2 years of experience are welcome.
