  • Own how models are proven correct and identify coverage gaps.
  • Maintain simulation performance to ensure short CI turnaround time.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog as an Operative Product Owner (OPO).
  • Act as the interface between the virtual platform team and its users, translating needs into priorities.
  • Own the release train, delivery commitments, and supplier model deliveries.
  • Collaborate with system, SoC, and IP architects to develop early models.
  • Work closely with Sweden teams on shared architecture, release train, and joint priorities.
  • Manage, recruit, and develop the Austin team, owning the hiring bar.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional software design and development experience.
  • Strong hands-on C++, including object-oriented design and templates.
  • Hands-on experience with SystemC, TLM, and software-based modeling, or equivalent depth in a commercial virtual prototyping environment.
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software interaction, and of hardware concepts.
  • Bit-accurate register-level modeling from hardware specifications.
  • Track record of maintaining simulation performance as platforms grow.
  • Experience setting technical direction as a lead, architect, or manager.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand consuming software organizations' needs and translate them into platform priorities.
  • Comfortable working towards shared goals in a fast-paced environment with incomplete or ambiguous information.
  • Knowledge of embedded Linux and experience using Linux as a software development platform.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education.

Desired Qualifications

  • Backlog or product ownership experience is an advantage.
  • Virtual platform, emulation, or RTL simulation experience in a production semiconductor program.
  • DSP toolchains or baseband and radio software stacks.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Arm Fast Models, QEMU, Wind River Simics, or Synopsys Virtualizer.
  • Experience with third-party model and simulator supplier management.
  • Experience with Python or Bash scripting, Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.

Benefits
