Atlas Copco is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Shanghai, China to lead sourcing strategy and manage all supply chain activities. This role involves team development, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with company policies, contributing to the overall development of the company.

Responsibilities

Transform division strategy into a clear action plan for the sourcing department.
Take full responsibility for all supply chain activities, including supplier agreements.
Manage sourcing resources efficiently to achieve set objectives.
Develop the sourcing team's knowledge and competence to find and develop suitable suppliers and processes.
Steer and guide the sourcing team in project and team working with internal functions and suppliers to meet project requirements (cost, time, logistics, quality).
Continuously interact and exchange information with other functions and product companies to benchmark products, costs, and quality.
Support the integration of the company within Atlas Copco China Supply Chain activities and network.
Ensure compliance of suppliers and the department with the Atlas Copco Business Code of Practice.
Work closely with application, engineering, and production teams, managing forwarders and brokers for continuous improvement.
Ensure the high quality of suppliers.
Further develop and improve the transparency of purchasing processes by introducing and applying best practices.
Be an active part of the management team and contribute to the overall company development.
