Responsibilities
- Assemble components to build finished gasket plate heat exchangers.
- Use hand and power tools according to standard operating procedures and blueprints.
- Perform quality checks and document processes accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace (5S routines).
- Collaborate with teams and participate in daily status board meetings.
- Identify and suggest improvements for standard operating procedures and waste elimination (KAIZEN).
- Cross-train in different manufacturing processes as required by the SOP Matrix.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
- Accurately record data on quality documentation, components, and product.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like PRP and TPM.
Requirements
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow blueprints and written instructions.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.
- Accurate and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to pass Industrial Vehicle Test (Crane, Forklift, Joey).
- Experience working a 3rd shift (10pm to 6:30am) is implied by the role title and shift details.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with Alfa Laval Production System (ALPS) concepts like 5S, Problem Resolution Process (PRP), and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) is a plus.
- Proactive in identifying and driving KAIZEN improvements.
