As a Solution Architecture Manager at Microsoft, you will lead a team of experts in delivering comprehensive, industry-specific solutions powered by Microsoft Cloud and AI. This hybrid role involves people management, pre-sales support, technical delivery oversight, and driving solution leadership to ensure customer success and business growth.

Responsibilities

Manage and coach a team, embodying Microsoft's culture and leadership principles.
Engage in pre-sales activities, providing input and making deal approval decisions.
Participate in workforce planning and capacity building for the team.
Provide solution leadership for complex customer engagements, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, architecture, security, and best practices.
Act as the DRI for technical blockers, risks, and escalations, driving timely resolution.
Ensure architecture governance, security compliance, and quality gates are embedded in delivery.
Lead adoption of AI-first and agentic delivery approaches for productivity and value.
Drive creation and reuse of delivery patterns, assets, and intellectual property.
Identify and sponsor opportunities for business development and expansion of customer impact.
Ensure team members achieve relevant certifications and accreditations.
Guide the team towards operational excellence and accountability for outcomes.
Communicate business strategy and its alignment with team's work.
Embody Microsoft's culture and values.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 6+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
OR equivalent experience.
4+ years customer facing experience or client delivery experience.
3+ years team leadership or people management experience, with or without direct reports.

Desired Qualifications

12+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business.
8+ years customer facing experience or client delivery experience.
8+ years people management experience.
Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
