Responsibilities

Conduct thorough investigations into suspected fraudulent vendor payments.
Analyze complex datasets and digital evidence to identify patterns and build comprehensive cases.
Develop and implement detection systems and prototypes to identify new fraud schemes.
Prepare detailed case summaries and evidence documentation for stakeholders, Legal, and law enforcement referrals.
Communicate investigation results and strategic recommendations to senior leaders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline investigation processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
Experience applying AI and machine learning to build detection mechanisms, automate investigation workflows, and reduce cycle time.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and identify patterns indicative of fraud or financial irregularities.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to document complex investigations clearly and concisely.
Advanced use of Excel and statistical analysis applications, experience with Microsoft office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
1+ years minimum experience with SQL.
Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.

Desired Qualifications

Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvement or equivalent.
Master's degree or equivalent.
Knowledge of intermediate SQL.
Background in financial crime investigation or forensic accounting.
