Responsibilities
- Work in a 24 X 7 Environment.
- Support the customer over email as well as phone.
- Responsible for 2nd Line troubleshooting of Microwave system over Ericsson 6xxx Series.
- Handle software upgrade process for Mini-link 6600 Series.
- Manage QoS parameters knowledge for Mini-link 6600 Series.
- Troubleshoot Ethernet alarms and parameters.
- Raise and update tickets in the tool for all issues handled.
- Report daily issues handled/escalated in daily shift reports.
- Ensure issues are handled within SLA/Commitments.
- Perform preventive activities using performance reports from Microwave NMS.
- Handle customer interactions and identify RCA.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering preferably in Electronics, Computer science, Telecommunication or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience on 2nd Level Engineer- functional role.
- Good Technical Knowledge of the Microwave Technology preferably 6K series.
Desired Qualifications
- Transmission or ENM experience preferred.
