Responsibilities
- Develop, set, and execute strategies, business, and market plans.
- Monitor and analyze market and competitor activity, trends, and demands.
- Stay informed about product and services news.
- Create a structure for the sales team and individuals, steering, coaching, and following up on targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales department to improve overall sales performance.
- Investigate, create, and share ideas for developing new ways of working and extending business with customers.
Requirements
- Ghanaian or Ghana resident able to work legally.
- Effective sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build and manage key relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
- Ability to take initiative and work under pressure.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- General computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite intermediary level).
- Sales management experience.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
Desired Qualifications
- Higher education in sales discipline or equivalent experience.
- Business knowledge and relevant work experience in sales or from a similar role is an advantage.
- Driver's license, a heavy vehicle license is an advantage.
- People management skills.
- Ghana local language(s) is an advantage.
