Tetra Pak is seeking a Safety Technician in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil to partner with business areas, supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of Occupational Health and Safety programs. This role requires ensuring compliance, promoting safe behaviors, and conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

Drive the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) programs across site and field operations.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
Develop and maintain risk assessments, safety procedures, and work instructions while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Deliver safety training and awareness initiatives, partnering with managers and employees to promote safe behaviors and prevent workplace incidents.
Support field teams, customer-site activities, contractor management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the organization's safety culture.

Requirements

A completed Technical Degree in Occupational Safety (Safety Technician certification) or equivalent qualification.
Solid knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety practices, Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), and Microsoft Office applications.
Intermediate English skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Availability to travel frequently (20% of the time).
Solid practical experience conducting safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments in operational environments.
Knowledge of data analysis tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
