Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) programs across site and field operations.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Develop and maintain risk assessments, safety procedures, and work instructions while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Deliver safety training and awareness initiatives, partnering with managers and employees to promote safe behaviors and prevent workplace incidents.
- Support field teams, customer-site activities, contractor management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the organization's safety culture.
Requirements
- A completed Technical Degree in Occupational Safety (Safety Technician certification) or equivalent qualification.
- Solid knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety practices, Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), and Microsoft Office applications.
- Intermediate English skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Availability to travel frequently (20% of the time).
- Solid practical experience conducting safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments in operational environments.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
