As a Retail Store Associate at IKEA in Live Oak, Texas, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, advise on home furnishing solutions, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities

Actively approach customers requiring additional help, identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their homes.
Keep area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, ensuring IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place.
Convey passion about IKEA products and actively learn about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers.
Build furniture as needed for various store initiatives.
Prepare, produce, and serve IKEA Food menu items, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at the point of receiving.
Flow product to final selling location.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Provide customers with a simple and efficient Full Serve Hand Out experience.
Provide the customer with a simple and smooth returns and exchange experience.

Requirements

1 year of retail experience, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.
