Responsibilities

  • Oversee front counter parts retail desk, including order acceptance, entry, will calls, and distribution.
  • Process emergency part orders promptly.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, shipment tracking, and monitoring backorders.
  • Maintain showroom displays.
  • Identify parts with long lead times and source from alternate suppliers within price guidelines.
  • Manage and invoice ship-direct orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all part orders and customer history.
  • Submit parts warranty and return claims within required timeframes for maximum credit.
  • Communicate parts availability issues to management.
  • Ensure pricing on all orders is correct according to company policy.
  • Conduct daily tracking of outstanding orders and shipments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2-4 years of prior work experience in Construction, Warehouse, or Automotive industry preferred.
  • Valid California Driver’s license.
  • Proficient in standard computer systems (Quipware, Microsoft Office Products).
  • Knowledgeable of warehouse inventory numbering system.
  • Knowledge in shipping methods, material handling equipment and tools.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to complete in-house certification for Forklift Operator.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
