As a DevOps Cloud Engineering Consultant, you will design, implement, and operate secure and automated cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and container orchestration in regulated environments. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep, ARM templates, and Azure-native services.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).
  • Deploy, configure, and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
  • Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization activities.
  • Implement and maintain Azure platform services including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure DNS, Azure Firewall, and Azure networking solutions.
  • Configure and support identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure, platform, and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
  • Participate in Agile and DevOps practices including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 1+ year(s) work experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret /SCI Security Clearance.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required pre-offer and post-hire for this role.
  • Successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements.
  • Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Verification of U.S citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years work experience in relevant area of business.
  • Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics).
  • Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management).
  • Experience deploying, and optimizing Azure solutions, including: Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure DevOps (ADO) Server and CI/CD automation, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Containers and container orchestration platforms, Azure DNS, Azure Firewall, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
